Qualifications

• Education: Undergraduate degree with strong academic standing, although consideration will be given to those with unique backgrounds. Candidates with non business/financial backgrounds are welcome.
• Additional Credentials: CFA, CPA/CA, etc. or postgraduate degree is a plus.
• Experience: All professional backgrounds are welcome—what matters is your drive to succeed in an entrepreneurial setting.
• Interpersonal Skills: Capable of inspiring and working collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Communication Skills: Able to engage and connect with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in both traditional and contemporary office software as well as AI systems.

The Opportunity

At Conqora, you'll immerse yourself in understanding businesses from the ground up. You'll research innovative ideas and opportunities, drive operational changes, and support business leaders while learning from a bottom-up perspective. You'll be exposed to a multitude of businesses and challenges, working closely with executives and entrepreneurs. In this role, you'll participate in the Conqora Leadership Development Program, a curated curriculum involving on-the-job experience working with executives at our portfolio companies; training in critical leadership skills to make you better (negotiation, financial modeling & risk assessment, public speaking, and more); and individual mentorship from seasoned Conqora executives. Envision this as a catalyst for your leadership journey, propelling you toward future senior roles by unlocking your full potential.

Our long-term goal is for you to become a leader within Conqora, managing one of our portfolio companies or setting the strategic direction for the firm within a specific industry or market.

Our Selection Process

We're casting a wide net across the nation to find the best talent. Here's how it works:

1. Cover Letter & Resume Submission: Open until February 12th, 11:59 PM.
2. Video Interview: Top 10% of candidates will be invited to complete a video interview with pre-set questions.
3. Case Study: Top 5% will be asked to complete a time-sensitive case study to showcase problem-solving abilities.
4. Final Interviews: Up to 10 candidates will be invited to Toronto for a dinner and a full day of interviews. We'll cover flight and accommodation for those not from the Toronto area.
