Business Development Executive – 25k- 30k Basic + OTE up to 60k – Manchester (Remote)

The Role

Cenik’s mission is to deliver seamless end-to-end supply chain management, providing market-leading technical chemical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop new business opportunities.
  • Support the Director in growing existing business.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Attend industry conferences and events.
  • Communicate competitor activity, market trends and customer needs.
  • Contribute to a team environment.

The Person

Pro-active, self-motivated, and target-oriented are phrases that describe you. You have entrepreneurial thinking, are customer-oriented, and possess problem-solving strengths. You are capable of taking the initiative, prioritising tasks, and seeking support when needed.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in B2B sales or business development in life sciences or a similar market environment.
  • A degree/Masters in a Scientific subject or significant industrial experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and desire to succeed in a high-paced commercial environment.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, MS Teams or similar).
  • Additional language skills (German, French, Spanish, Scandinavian languages, or Eastern European languages) are a benefit.
  • A valid driving licence.
