Operations Manager – Up to £52k – Milton Keynes

The Role

Do you have the vision and drive for a management position at an innovative and leading eCommerce packaging supplier? If so, there is a great opportunity for an Operations Manager.

Directly responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of warehoused goods, the successful candidate will also develop value adding services to maximise profitability, thereby ensuring that productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

The key responsibilities of an Operations Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing storage requirements within the warehouse to ensure that there is a smooth flow of stock from the point of receipt.
  • Driving KPIs.
  • Making sure that all despatched goods adhere to the unique conformance requirements of our customers.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Operations Manager:

  • Experience as a senior Operational Leader within a dynamic environment is essential.
  • PC literate with the ability to use MS Office.
  • Outstanding organisational and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a willingness to identify and own a problem, alongside good problem solving skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
