The Role

Are you skilled at building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and suppliers? An innovative IT firm are looking for a Customer Representative.

The successful applicant will be responsible for answering incoming calls regarding faults and support queries, accurately logging the details and communicating with the clients to keep them updated on progress as well as managing and assisting the engineers with their resolution.  

The key responsibilities of a Customer Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and managing internal systems, recording of accurate information onto internal systems and updating web-based and internal project monitoring systems
  • Creating the required documentation to support and assist the Sales team, the Technical team and clients, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all information
  • Establishing client requirements and converting them into proposals in line with targets and timescales, and procuring goods for project delivery

The key skills and qualities of a Customer Representative:

  • Excellent coordination skills with the ability to work under own initiative
  • A firm understanding of effective customer care process and wider impact on business
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong and compelling relationships
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent telephone manner with strong written and verbal skills
  • Knowledge and experience within the communications industry would be desirable though not essential
