The Role

Leading and coordinating Agilyx’s accounting system and policies, the successful candidate will manage and oversee the accounting department, which includes payroll, billing, accounts payable and foreign entities.

The key responsibilities of an Accounting Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the monthly financial close and assisting/preparing monthly corporate consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement - in accordance with NGAAP.
  • Maintaining financial ERP structure including COA, departments and intercompany relationship, and monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results with department heads.
  • Recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating accounting staff.

Agilyx has leveraged the success of the generation 7 plant design in Oregon to develop business development opportunities and contractual agreements to design full-scale conversion facilities utilizing Agilyx’s pyrolysis technology.

Agilyx is rapidly expanding as it increases its bandwidth in product design and management to keep pace with market demand for Agilyx equipment.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Accounting Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing technology publicly traded company experiencing rapid growth.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, federal and state tax and payroll reporting requirements, accounts payable and payroll, GAAP and international accounting.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare account reconciliations and consolidated financial statements.
  • Experience in coordinating an interim and annual audits, preparing PBC’s for auditors, and preparing financial note disclosures.
  • Commitment to teamwork and results orientation, strong interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills, impeccable personal and professional ethics.
