The Role

Are you an iOS developer who is familiar with Swift? Are you willing to work from initial design through deployment to supporting end users? If so, Tapestry Learning Journal, an educational service providing crucial support to teachers and parents amid school closures forced by Covid-19, wants to hear from you.

The successful candidate for this iOS Developer opportunity will reproduce Tapestry web service features within our iOS app.

The key responsibilities of an iOS Developer include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing new features for our iOS app.
  •  Maintaining and bug-fixing the code.
  • Working with the development team as well as product support to ensure our customers have a reliable and secure product.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an iOS Developer:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an iOS Developer, with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Familiarity with Swift and a good knowledge of the iOS ecosystem.
  • Firm grasp of iOS application lifecycle from coding to deployment, with an understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design knowledge.
  • Excellent English and communication skills.
