Air Conditioning Engineer – Competitive Salary – Leeds, West Yorkshire (with travel to other sites)

The Role

SL Electric Services Ltd, a leading Yorkshire-based contractor, is seeking an experienced field-based Air Conditioning Engineer to join our electrical installation team. You’ll be installing and servicing air conditioning and ventilation equipment across a range of commercial projects, mainly in the UK but with occasional trips elsewhere.

To be considered, you must reside in the West or South Yorkshire area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems and VRF/VRV systems.
• Carry out effective troubleshooting and repairs of system malfunctions.
• Manage installation of MVHR units and associated ductwork.
• Occasionally service existing equipment under facilities management contracts.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team of professionals on diverse projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

This role would be suitable for a HVAC Engineer living in the Yorkshire area who is willing to

travel and be away from home Monday to Friday when contributing to large projects.

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role.
• NVQ Level 2 as a minimum.
• Must hold an in date ACRIB or Blue CSCS card as a minimum.
• F-Gas 2079-11 or equivalent.
• In date Asbestos Awareness training.
• Basic first aid.
• Full, clean driving license required (company vehicle and fuel card provided).
• IPAF (preferrable but not essential).
• PASMA (preferrable but not essential).
• SSSTS (preferrable but not essential).
