Commercial HVAC / R Technician – $18 - $38 per hour + Benefits - Greenville, SC

The Role

Are you equipped with over five years of experience in HVAC service or installation? Do you hold a current EPA certification? If so, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our clients' businesses comfortable and operational by maintaining, diagnosing and repairing their commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance, diagnose and repair various commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems.
• Replace any heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems.
• Lay out and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagram, using an electrician’s hand tools.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications as they pertain to HVAC technician duties.
• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
• Maintain cleaning coils and leak checking.
• Testing HVAC and refrigeration systems and components.

Excell Refrigeration of South Carolina, Inc. is in their twentieth sixth year of business as a licensed refrigeration and air conditioning contractor servicing South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. We currently provide maintenance and service contracts to a growing list of customers and provide 24/7 emergency service as well.

While refrigeration service and installation has been our main focus, we realize that our customers have a wide variety of needs. Over the last five years, we have been increasing our offerings and training our technicians on servicing a variety of new equipment such as bakery ovens and mixers, proofers, and meat grinders.

The Person

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of prior experience working as an HVAC technician or HVAC installer.
• Candidates must have an EPA certification that is up to date and valid.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge and understanding of HVAC service and installation techniques.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• High School degree or equivalent.
