The Role

As an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing plant electrical and mechanical equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring that production machinery and facilities run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical systems to the component level.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Understand and repair industrial electrical systems.
  • Install, maintain and repairs equipment required to meet production needs.
  • Install services and repairs electric motors, 3 phase systems, VFD, servos, heaters, coolers, refrigerators, and other related equipment using various hand and power tools.
  • Move and replace machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  • Fabricate and assemble test parts as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to assist in training.
  • Resolve problems while providing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to safely and effectively work on plant facilities of various forms.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports related to the work regarding equipment, supplies and materials.
  • Prepare written reports on projects and equipment conditions.

The Person

  • Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
  • Troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of electromechanical, Pneumatics, PLC, VFD’s and other industrial controls for troubleshooting various types of manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
