Evercap is seeking a hardworking and results-oriented Business Development Senior Associate to generate M&A deal flow for the firm's private equity and strategic acquirer client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate proprietary M&A and investment deal flow via contacting potential targets (owners of companies that might be willing to sell their businesses to private equity firms or strategic acquirers). Contact methods include: email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
• Conduct initial phone calls with target business owners to discuss potential M&A transactions and investment opportunities. Connect interested business owners with Evercap's clients.
• Coordinate with Evercap's research team to ensure target company lists are created in a timely manner and meet client investment criteria.
• Maintain CRM database through careful notetaking.
• Work closely with Evercap Managing Director (direct report) and tight-knit team.

The Person

• Knowledge and interest in M&A, finance, and general business activities and terminology
• Superb listening, writing, speaking and organizational skills
• History of high work ethic and initiative
• Expertise in all Microsoft Office programs
• ~0 - 5+ years of experience in business development, investment or commercial banking, sales, finance, or related fields
• BA or BS degree with preference for degrees in finance, accounting, business, management, economics, or related fields
