The Role

We are a leading solar PV installer in Ireland, looking to appoint an experienced Telesales/ Call Centerer Manager to our growing team.

You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4-5 telesales representatives, ensuring they meet their targets and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Calling: Make outbound calls to potential customers to schedule appointments for the sales teams.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly appointment and pipeline targets.
  • Timely Follow-Up: Follow up with potential customers promptly to ensure high lead conversion rates.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain a positive attitude in all customer interactions and establish positive rapport.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure all information is accurately captured for each conversation.
  • Team Management:
    • Supervise and support a team of 4-5 Telesales representatives.
    • Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance, and strategies.
    • Implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
    • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve individual and team targets.

The Person

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Target-Oriented: Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Good understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Sales Experience: Experience in outbound sales in a call centre environment is desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Telecoms knowledge within mobile, landline, or hosted sales is an advantage.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Proven experience in managing and leading a Telesales team.
    • Ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve sales targets.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
