As Litigation Attorney at Patterson Ripplinger, P.C, you will be at the forefront of legal representation, advocating for clients' rights and interests with skill, integrity, and dedication. Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, all aimed at delivering exceptional legal services and achieving successful outcomes for those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
• Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, and other services to clients and claims specialists on legal and factual issues.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
• Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases.
• Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree with J.D., and admission to the bar in Colorado.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Experience defending first and third-party claims, drafting coverage analyses, drafting motions, pleadings, complaints, conducting depositions and court hearings in both state and federal court is preferred.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
