Senior Data Center Project Manager – $125K-185K pa – Pfluggerville, TX

The Role

Do you possess expertise in data center fitout design and construction, including busway/HAC/cabling infrastructure? Can you effectively manage multiple stakeholders and ensure project success? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

As a Senior Data Center Project Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of large-scale data center projects. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of project management and coordination. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve working closely with engineering teams, developers, stakeholders, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage data center projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight and regular progress reports to leadership.
• Resolve critical issues while maintaining project timelines and costs.
• Engage with customers, cross-functional partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate planning workshops and design reviews with both internal and external teams.
• Coordinate design activities, procurement, and construction efforts.
• Oversee submittals, request for information, and engineering queries.
• Track project milestones and provide transparent communication with stakeholders.
• Offer engineering expertise for construction, commissioning, and closeout phases.
• Identify lessons learned and suggest improvements for project enhancement.

The Person

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in large-scale data center design and/or construction.
• Expertise in data center fitout design and construction, including busway/HAC/cabling infrastructure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
