Relief Worker– Competitive Wage – South East London

The Role

As a Relief Worker at QVT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the wellbeing of our clients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality support across all our schemes in South East London, working in partnership with our dedicated staff. This role requires flexibility to cover shifts during evenings, weekends, and nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver effective, efficient, and client-focused services.
• Provide cover for Housing Officers as needed.
• Report safeguarding concerns in line with our policy.
• Support clients as directed by your line manager.
• Conduct room and property checks, and key worker sessions.
• Perform wellbeing checks on clients during shifts.
• Maintain accurate client records on our database, ‘Inform’.
• Ensure properties are safe, well-maintained, and comply with Health and Safety standards.
• Support in keeping properties clean and reporting maintenance issues.

Our aim is to support each client in achieving maximum independence through a range of on and off-premises support.

The Person

• Experience in social housing or mental health sectors is desirable.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft packages.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to work unsociable hours.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
