As an integral part of our operations, you will manage truck drivers' schedules and routes, coordinate freight pickups and deliveries, and handle customer complaints and inquiries. Key Responsibilities

• Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes.
• Load planning and preplanning future loads for our drivers.
• Scheduling freight pickups and deliveries.
• Providing shipping details to customers and documenting all calls, routes, and times.
• Reviewing logs of truck drivers and handling customer complaints and inquiries.
• Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices.
• Negotiating rates and delivery timelines.
• Keeping and organizing work requests, inventory records, and other relevant information.

The Person

• At least one year dispatch experience in the past 3 years
• Comprehensive knowledge of trucking regulations and laws.
• In-depth understanding of shipping, trucking, and logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in transportation management software, specifically McLeod.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to handle upset customers professionally and tactfully.
