At Elliot Leigh TLC, we are dedicated to support young people leaving care. We are looking for a Key Worker, who will play an important role in assisting our young people in developing and implementing solid life skills in order for them to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Key Worker include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and supervise young people in the community.
  • Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all times.
  • Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
  • Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping and reports.

The Company

Elliot Leigh TLC provides shared, stand Alone and studio accommodation for young people in care between the ages of 16 to 25. Our sole aim is to ensure our accommodation provides an environment which is safe and feels like a home. We serve Local Authorities throughout London & surrounding areas.

Every TLC team member understands the needs of young individuals and always aims to help them overcome the challenges they may be facing. To ensure this we provide extensive training to all team members and have clear channels of communication open to assist in any way we can.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Key Worker are:

  • 2 years + working with Young People over 16+
  • A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
  • Strong computer literacy (as you will be expected to use our online program to record all work, in logs, key workings, monthly reports.
  • Be a team player.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Qualification in Health & Social Care.
  • Full driving license (preferred but not essential).
