IT Service Desk Analyst – £22,000 to £26,000 DOE – Remote / Sale, Greater Manchester*

The Role

Do you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a Service Desk environment, alongside a full driving license?

If so, a full-service law firm with almost 250 years of experience are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to provide 1st line troubleshooting support.

The key responsibilities of an IT Service Desk Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • 1st line troubleshooting support – software, hardware, network related problems including Citrix and Windows.
  • Log all calls accurately in our Service desk tool and maintain full documentation allowing others to pick up if necessary.
  • Manage the configuration and installation of new hardware and software such as laptops, PCs and printers.
  • Managing Active Directory administration and setting up new users.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service at all times for all support queries and adhere to all internal processes for us and our clients.

*Remote working initially with a view to being primarily based at our Sale office, but may require travel to our Manchester and Timperley office occasionally.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an IT Service Desk Analyst:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in a Service Desk environment.
  • Full Driving License –Required to take IT equipment to different sites for install and configuration. Provide local support for homeworkers including the setup of New Starters.
  • Previous experience with legal apps including IManage, Proclaim, Big Hand , DocsCorp and Oyez forms.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Basic understanding of Powershell.
  • Experience in providing IT support in a corporate environment.
  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation/ Intermediate Certification preferred but not essential.
