The Role

If so, Agilyx is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for the oversight of work performed for multiple assigned projects at multiple sites.

The successful candidate will ensure that all project deliverables are achieved within established schedules and budgets, with a high level of quality and functionality.

The key responsibilities of a Project Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Project initiation and project plan development.
  • Proposal scoping and estimating, developing project hours.
  • Interface with contractors to obtain proposals/bids.

 The Company

Since its founding in 2004, Agilyx has been committed to finding ways of turning plastics into a renewable resource. Agilyx has leveraged the success of the generation 7 plant design in Oregon to develop business development opportunities and contractual agreements to design full-scale conversion facilities utilizing Agilyx’s pyrolysis technology.

As such, Agilyx is needing to increase its bandwidth in product design and management to keep pace with market demand for Agilyx equipment.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Project Manager:

  • BS degree or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years engineering project management experience, preferably related to $40MM+ manufacturing and capital projects. EPC experience a plus.
  • Understands project FEL phases and required deliverables for project success; Proficient with project scheduling software.
  • Experience developing scopes of work for engineering and construction activities.
  • Team player with the ability to interact effectively with engineers, operations, and outside engineering firm personnel.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Good problem solving skills and drives decision-making.
