Conveyancer (Banking) – Competitive – Newcastle

The Role

Are you a qualified legal executive or licensed conveyancer with at least 5 years’ experience of handing residential conveyancing transactions? If so, one of the biggest and most progressive law firms in the North of England are looking for a Conveyancer (Banking).

The successful candidate will be responsible for their own small caseload of purchases and refinances of BLT properties and holiday lets.

The key responsibilities of a Conveyancer (Banking) include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the senior fee earners within the team to complete separate representation matters for lender clients.
  • Providing an efficient, solutions-focused service to the customer and the lender.
  • Preparing pre-completion undertakings and completion statements; conducting pre-completion searches; overseeing signature and return of security documents.

The key skills and qualities of a Conveyancer (Banking):

  • Qualified legal executive or licensed conveyancer with at least 5 years’ experience of handing residential conveyancing transactions.
  • A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude to facilitate working closely with a team of legal fee earners on all aspects.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
