Mortgage & Protection Advisor – £24-£30,000 – Remote

The Role

Are you an experienced broker with a proven sales and compliance record? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen within a specialist mortgage brokerage for a Mortgage & Protection Advisor.

The successful candidate will provide mortgage and protection advice that is suitable to their customers’ specific needs. The role is in our ‘whole of market’ mortgage opportunities, and the successful candidate will be working our client bank, re-mortgaging customers post-build, and dealing with standard house purchases.

The key responsibilities of a Mortgage & Protection Advisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Making the most of the quality leads provided. 
  • Actively managing the existing client bank to secure future repeat business.
  • Establishing customer needs before making suitable recommendations.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Mortgage & Protection Advisor:

  • 12 months+ experience as a broker with a proven sales and compliance record.
  • A self-starter with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Full CeMAP (or equivalent).
  • Experience of giving non face-to-face advice.
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen customer focus.
  • Highly organised and target driven.
  • The tenacity to place complex cases.
