Field Sales Executive – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Preston, UK (field-based)

The Role

Are you a smart, confident, and customer-orientated individual looking to develop your career? If so, a leading face-to-face marketing company located in the North West of England is looking for a Field Sales Executive.

Visiting customers in their homes, the successful candidate will gain full training - although experience in a customer facing role is desirable.

The key responsibilities of a Field Sales Executive include, but are not limited to:

  • Visiting existing customers in their homes, explaining the benefits of replacing their gas and electric meters with smart meters.
  • Setting up appointments for customers to have their meters replaced.
  • Answering any queries or concerns that customers may have with regards to smart meters.

The Company

The company is a leader in face-to-face marketing, working within the energy sector on smart metering.

We have developed a unique approach with customers whereby we offer a pre-install survey and appointment booking service directly with the customer. We have invested heavily into a bespoke software system allowing strategic planning of every visit, reducing the travelling time between each install for the engineer.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Field Sales Executive:

  • Experience in a customer facing role is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate and build relationships with customers and people at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to handle multiple workflows and client responsibilities whilst paying outstanding attention to detail.
  • A team player that is also capable of working on own initiative.
  • Highly self-motivated, forward thinking, goal driven and loves the outdoors!
