The Role

Superior Traffic Services, a software company in the portable traffic control industry, is seeking a motivated and ambitious IT Administrator to manage the in-house computing needs of an ever-growing company.

A hands-on role, the successful candidate must be a team player, as they will be responsible for addressing virtually everything related to computers, internet connectivity, and internet security for employees, alongside supporting the operational software team.

The key responsibilities of an IT Administrator at Superior Traffic Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing the annual IT operating budget, developing capital improvement budget and evaluating the acquisition and installation of new equipment (hardware and software);
  • Developing and implementing operating procedures for computing and Information Technology;
  • Maintaining a library of all system software and ensuring all licensing requirements have been met and are current for all existing software.

 The Person

The key skills and qualities of an IT Administrator at Superior Traffic Services are:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, or equivalent; or equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • The qualified candidate would have at least 4 years of experience as an IT Administrator.
  • Experience with: Amazon Web Services, Linux, NetSuite.
  • Certifications: Cisco CCNA and/or CCNP, CompTIA A+, Microsoft.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, tsrong attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, efficient time manager
