Refrigeration Engineer- £44,000-£46,000 + Bonus and Benefits

Summary

TJ Refrigeration is an independent and very competitive company formed in 1982. We have grown consistently over the years and have enjoyed over 40 years within the refrigeration industry.

The company is split into two divisions and specialises in commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning, offering solutions to almost any situation.

Currently operating in the supermarket refrigeration sector on Aldi, Costco, McColls and Morrisons Daily contracts, and are seeking refrigeration engineers to fill the following requirements:

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work. They should be able to multi-task, be organised and be able to prioritise workloads, all whilst adhering to critical SLAs. They should be able to communicate effectively in a friendly and courteous manner, establishing and maintaining good working relationships. The job requires the ability to work well independently but may also incorporate work as a team where required.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Attend reactive service call
• Conduct PPM works at customer sites
• Attend emergency callouts within SLA
• Report any additional works required for the continued reliability of customer assets.
• Work towards achieving a First fix where possible.
• Maintain stock, tools, and equipment.
• Comply with all Health and Safety working practices and procedures.
• Fully conversant with all major manufacturers systems and equipment.
• Part of standby rota

• Salary £44,000 - £46,000 (dependent on experience)

Essential:

• Valid UK driver's license
• Time served experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
• C&G 2079 / F- GAS
• Strong communication skills and work ethic
• Awareness and knowledge of Health & Safety

Desirable as training will be provided:

• CO2 Qualification
• Supermarket Experience
• Hydrocarbon

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
