Aviation Safety Ornithologist – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Remote with travel (mainly UK) The Role Do you have strong field identification skills and a solid understanding of bird ecology? Are you confident working independently and interested in aviation safety? Birdstrike Management Ltd (BML) is a global consultancy helping the aviation industry reduce bird and wildlife strike risks. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Aviation Safety Ornithologist to join our growing team. This is a one-year contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. You’ll be based from home with regular travel for field work across the UK, and occasional international opportunities. You’ll work Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), with occasional weekend work. You’ll support a wide range of ornithological tasks near UK aerodromes, providing expert insights and data to help reduce risks to aviation.
