Orthodox Service Music Director – Competitive Rate - Ramstein Air Base DE-RP 09021

The Role

Do you have experience leading Orthodox liturgical music? Are you ready to serve a growing Orthodox community?

This role provides musical leadership for Orthodox services at Kapaun Chapel. The director will lead singing, prepare music, and ensure reverence in every service.

Join us in leading the Orthodox community through sacred song and worship.

This is a part-time, 1099 contract.

Please note: Candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide supporting documents, such as degree certificates, transcripts, and professional certifications.

Position contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Byzantine music during services
• Provide one rehearsal and two services per week
• Support Holy Days and special events
• Collaborate on annual music planning
• Prepare lyrics slides as needed
• Manage and support volunteer singers 

The Person

• 1+ years leading Orthodox church music
• Can read and interpret liturgical scores
• Strong understanding of Orthodox worship style
• Collaborative and spiritually aware
