Contemporary Music Director/Accompanist – Competitive Rate - Ramstein Air Base DE-RP 09021

The Role

Do you bring life to worship through music? Can you lead with guitar or piano in a contemporary faith setting?

We are seeking a Contemporary Music Director/Accompanist to support weekly Protestant contemporary worship services at Ramstein Air Base. Working closely with the Service Chaplain, you’ll lead and organize music that enhances modern worship, including Sunday services, rehearsals, and special events.

This is a part-time, 1099 contract.

Position contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide piano or guitar accompaniment for all Contemporary Services
• Lead weekly rehearsals (52 per year)
• Select and arrange contemporary Christian music
• Provide music for holy days, memorials, and other events
• Serve as lead singer or train team members to do so
• Submit seasonal music plans in advance
• Recruit and manage praise team volunteers
• Ensure copyright compliance and equipment return

The Person

• 2+ years of music study or equivalent church experience
• 3+ years of experience playing keyboard or guitar
• Confident in leading worship vocals
• Familiar with arranging and reading modern Christian music
• Able to lead a praise team effectively
