The Role

You will lead a team to provide excellent care for individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, and other associated challenges. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while working within a supportive organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the effective management of the service, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and delivering person-centred care. Your duties will include:
- Ensuring the service meets Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and exceeds expectations.
- Overseeing staff management, including training, supervision, and development.
- Ensuring care plans are person-centred and support individuals in achieving their goals.
- Managing resources effectively, including staffing, budgets, and physical assets.
- Working closely with families, health professionals, and other agencies to provide coordinated support.
- Supporting individuals in their transition to independent living and social inclusion.
- Promoting a culture of dignity, independence, and choice for the people we support.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and responding to any concerns appropriately.
- Keeping accurate records in line with regulatory and contractual requirements.

The Person
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting.
- A Level 5 NVQ in Management (or willingness to complete this qualification).
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
- Experience managing a team within mental health, learning disabilities, or autism services.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
