Sales Engineer – $70,000 + Commission (2-5% w/NO Cap)– Butte, MT 59701 (travel required)

The Role

Do you have a background in engineering and a proven record in capital equipment sales? Are you confident presenting technical solutions and building trusted relationships with clients?

We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join our growing team at Resodyn Acoustic Mixers.

You will work directly with customers to demonstrate, explain and support the sale of our ResonantAcoustic® Mixers – a unique product that reduces mixing time and setup costs while improving outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travelling (expect regular travel (around 50%), solving problems and turning technical expertise into commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Deliver live product demonstrations at client sites
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows
  • Support existing customers and manage the full sales cycle
  • Respond to technical questions and provide accurate information
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams on client needs
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track leads, opportunities, and outcomes
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and challenges

The Person

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Self-motivated and confident working independently
  • Experienced in capital equipment sales (5+ years preferred)
  • Comfortable explaining technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled in live product demonstrations and customer presentations
  • Organized, analytical, and good at problem-solving
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related field
  • Able to travel across the US (valid driving license required)
  • A US citizen, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Mechanically minded, with the ability to operate and demonstrate our equipment
