The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and technical delivery of commercial solar PV projects. Your work will:

• Help organisations cut energy bills and carbon footprints
• Support Ireland’s national renewable energy goals

• You’ll be hands-on across all stages—from site surveys and system design to project support and commissioning.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading electrical design for low and medium voltage solar PV systems
• Providing technical input through development, construction and delivery
• Attending on-site surveys to ensure system fit and feasibility
• Supporting grid connection applications and ensuring compliance
• Working closely with project managers to meet deadlines and budgets
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior engineers

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• 5+ years’ experience in LV and MV design
• Familiarity with Irish/UK electrical standards
• Experience in renewable energy (solar PV a strong plus)
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD)
• Confident communicator with a practical, problem-solving approach
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a team mindset
