Who we are looking for:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to manage the new Winchester Street Market contract to deliver the council’s vision for a well-curated, high-quality, locally driven street market.

As Winchester Street Market Manager you will deliver a full range of client contract management roles, monitor performance and ensure compliance with our new operating policies whilst maximising opportunities for income generation. The successful applicant will also work with the market operator to ensure the market delivers an excellent visitor and trader experience and to introduce new themed and seasonal markets.

We are looking to hear from an enthusiastic and determined individual to join our friendly economy team who has robust contract and performance management experience and the ability to influence and motivate.

The post will require regular early morning and weekend working, over market operating days, and on occasions at additional times.
