Portrait Sales Consultant – $50,000+ – Red Bank or Hillsborough, New Jersey

The Role

We are a well-established portrait company specialising in upscale family, children and pet portraits. We are looking to hire a part-time (with potential to go full time) Portrait Sales Consultant who can work in both our Red Bank and Hillsborough, New Jersey locations.

• Engage with clients and understand their needs to provide personalised portrait solutions.

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.

The Person

What We are looking for:

• A minimum of 5 years inside sales experience selling directly to consumers in luxury goods.
• Working knowledge of art, design or home decor.
• Self-starter and able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced photography studio environment.
• High energy, flexible attitude, must like interacting with lots of people, children and dogs.
• Team player – willing to pivot, fill in and jump in where needed.

What do you need:

• Ability to work one weekend day/night per week.
• We are open nights until 9 pm.
• Exceptional one on one sales skills.
• Warm, professional and inviting demeanor.
• Able to connect with clients in a meaningful way in a short period of time.
• Excellent computer skills – Office, Teams, proprietary POS program experience highly valued, but not a deal breaker (we will fully train).
• Able to start within the next month.
