Payroll Administrator – £30k to £35k DOE – Cockfosters (EN4 9HN)

The Role

Michael Omiros provides a genuinely bespoke payroll solution that makes businesses run more smoothly.

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and ensuring their payroll needs are met with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting/liaising with clients (phone, emails), understanding their needs and providing solution to their queries.
  • Forge positive relationship with team members, assisting them with payment summaries for accounts preparation.
  • Planning and processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently (weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls).
  • Processing PAYE payments on behalf of clients.
  • Regular auditing of documentation to ensure compliance and governance.
  • Provide professional and friendly support to clients and their employee for all payroll related matters.
  • Full processing and management of all pension schemes on behalf of customers.
  • Preparing CIS deduction sheets, verifying subcontractors, submitting CIS returns, CITB Levy.
  • Processing and submissions of P11Ds.

The Person

  • Experience in payroll admin, preferably with exposure to BrightPay.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
  • Knowledge of pension schemes processes is essential
