We’re looking for a Senior Coordinator, Donor Relations (Bilingual) to join our national development team at Special Olympics Canada. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide exceptional, bilingual support to individual donors across the country, helping to ensure lasting relationships and continued engagement with our mission.

Reporting to the Director, Individual and Community Giving, you will be the main point of contact for individual and community donors, working across various fundraising channels, supporting stewardship strategies, and enhancing donor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Donor Stewardship

  • Implement donor engagement strategies to support loyalty and retention
  • Manage ongoing stewardship for monthly donors, including KPI reporting
  • Work with third-party vendors to improve donor experience
  • Ensure all donations are promptly acknowledged
  • Organize donor appreciation initiatives

Donor Support & Data Management

  • Handle enquiries, feedback, and donation-related queries in both English and French
  • Process and manage monthly donations and tax receipts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain clean and accurate donor data
  • Track donor performance and identify trends through reporting

Marketing & Communications

  • Coordinate bilingual digital donor communications and welcome campaigns
  • Support the development of donor appeals and marketing content
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure timelines and quality of communications are met

General Administration

  • Assist with donation processing and reporting
  • Support the fundraising team with additional administrative tasks as needed

The Person

  • Fully bilingual (English/French) – written and spoken
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in donor relations, fundraising or related field
  • Proficient with CRM systems and data management
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Motivated by meaningful work and building strong relationships
  • Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising trends is an asset
