Commercial Mortgage Originator / Business Development Manager – Remote

Do you enjoy real conversations with business owners instead of cold calling all day? Are you the kind of closer who knows how to guide a deal across the finish line with confidence?

The role

We’re looking for a Commercial Mortgage Originator / Business Development Manager that knows how to turn opportunity into results.

In this role, you’ll be speaking with commercial property owners who already have a need. These are warm leads with maturing mortgages, not cold prospects. Your focus will be simple: build trust, understand their situation, and help them refinance their properties.

Deal sizes range from $3M to $50M. You’ll spend the majority of your time having meaningful conversations and closing business, while our team handles processing and underwriting behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call around 100 warm leads each month
  • Close at least 3 deals per month
  • Build strong relationships with property owners, financial advisors, and CPAs
  • Present solutions clearly to senior decision-makers
  • Run meetings in person, phone, and Zoom
  • Keep your pipeline organized and up to date
  • Deliver a high standard of service to every client
  • Self Starter - Someone who does not need to be micromanaged. Creative, entrepreneurial, and results oriented.

  • Comfortable using Word, Excel, and basic systems
  • Open to learning and improving
  • Able to pass a background check
