The Role

Are you experienced in religious education and enjoy working with children? Do you have strong leadership and planning skills and want to support a meaningful mission overseas?

We are looking for a Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) to join the Chapel Team at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni in Japan. This role supports the Protestant Religious Education program for elementary-age children (K-5), including Sunday Children's Church, holiday events, and Vacation Bible School.

As the Protestant CRE, you'll manage and coordinate weekly and seasonal programs that help children grow in their Christian faith. You will work directly with Chapel staff and volunteers to provide consistent, engaging, and safe religious education opportunities throughout the year.

Please note: Candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide supporting documents, such as degree certificates, transcripts, and professional certifications.

Position contingent upon contract award.
