Clean water pumps, booster sets, pressurisation units, drainage pumps – essential experience

The role

Want to take the lead on high-value pump projects without being micromanaged? Looking for a role where your expertise is trusted, your input matters, and your next step is into leadership?

We're hiring a Senior Pump Service Engineer or Pump Services Manager to work on clean water and drainage pump systems across London and the Home Counties. You’ll manage your own schedule, prioritise complex jobs, and play a key role in improving how we deliver pump services. This role progresses into leading a small team, with full support.

Please apply only if you have hands-on experience with clean water pumps, booster sets, pressurisation units, or drainage pumps. Other engineering backgrounds cannot be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on clean water booster sets and submersible pumps (Lowara, Wilo, Grundfos, DAB, Aquatech, Espa) so you stay hands-on with top-tier equipment
  • Use your fault-finding skills to keep systems running smoothly, reducing downtime for our clients.
  • Get involved in quoting and advising on new work so your technical know-how drives smarter decisions.
  • Tackle control panel tasks and small pump projects so your days are varied and challenging.
  • Handle water sampling and reporting to support our broader hygiene services and keep customers compliant.
  • Be part of a reliable on-call rota (with overtime) so you’re rewarded for going the extra mile.

The Company

My Aqua is an expanding water hygiene and Legionella control provider across London and surrounding regions. We value expertise, reliability, and long-term growth – when you join, you’re part of a team that invests in you.

Benefits

  • Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30
  • Overtime available
  • 28 days holiday (incl. bank holidays)
  • Company van, fuel card, phone, tools
  • Pension scheme
  • Career development into leadership

You must have (strict requirements):

  • 5+ years working with clean water pumps, booster sets, and drainage pumps
  • Strong experience in installations, servicing, and fault finding
  • Electrically competent (18th Edition preferred)
  • CSCS and Confined Space (advantage)
  • Some knowledge of Legionella Control and Water Hygiene
  • Able to manage your own time and write clear reports
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Within commuting distance of Central London
