You will play a key part in delivering a structured programme that supports adults in custody to build stronger foundations for their future.

Working within a secure environment, you will lead sessions that explore values, behaviour, relationships and belief systems. Your work will help individuals develop a clearer sense of purpose and direction.

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, with the chance to make a real and visible impact through your work as a Values and Responsibility Spiritual Guide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured sessions covering spirituality, values and personal responsibility
  • Lead group discussions that encourage reflection and respectful dialogue
  • Support individuals from a wide range of faiths and belief systems
  • Encourage engagement in journaling, group activities and programme participation
  • Promote understanding, tolerance and constructive decision-making
  • Work alongside programme staff to support successful outcomes

The Person:

To succeed as a Values and Responsibility Spiritual Guide, you will need:

  • A Master’s degree (or current enrolment) in a relevant field such as Divinity, Psychology, Sociology, Education or Social Work
  • Confidence leading group sessions and discussions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • A calm, professional and respectful approach
  • Endorsement from a recognised religious or community organisation
