Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator - $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience - USAG Rheinland-Pfalz 

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting faith-based programs? Do you have experience managing schedules, communications, and administrative tasks in a structured environment?

The role

We are seeking a Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator to support chapel communities across USAG Rheinland-Pfalz, including Kaiserslautern and Baumholder. This is a part-time 1099 contract role, offering 17–18 hours per week at $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

In this role, you will work closely with the Catholic Chaplain and Priest to ensure smooth coordination of religious services and community activities. You will play an important part in maintaining continuity, organization, and communication within the Catholic community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials and elements required for weekly Mass services
  • Develop and distribute weekly bulletins and announcements
  • Create and manage a monthly Catholic community calendar
  • Maintain community registration records and attendance tracking
  • Coordinate events, including facility reservations and publicity
  • Prepare and organize sacramental documentation and records
  • Attend regular coordination and advisory meetings
  • Support reporting requirements and administrative documentation

The person

  • You will bring strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in administrative or program coordination roles
  • Comfortable working in a faith-based setting aligned with Catholic practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage schedules, documents, and records with accuracy
  • Professional, respectful, and reliable approach to work
  • Ability to obtain Catechist certification within 90 days
