Be recognised for your technical expertise and progress your paraplanning career within a firm where your work genuinely shapes advice outcomes.

Frizzell Wealth Management in Wallingford is growing. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Paraplanner from a Financial Planning / Wealth Management environment who wants greater ownership of cases, exposure to complex client work and clear scope to strengthen their professional standing.

Please note: applicants must have previous paraplanning experience within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management firm.

The Role

You will play a central role in supporting advisers by delivering technically robust and compliant financial planning documentation.

Working on complex cases, including asset-rich clients, you will deepen your knowledge of pensions, investments and tax-efficient planning while strengthening your regulatory understanding. Your analysis and structured reports will directly support high-quality advice.

If you have experience within St. James's Place, this would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Produce detailed financial planning and suitability reports
  • Conduct research across pensions, investments, platforms and tax-efficient wrappers
  • Draft suitability letters that clearly reflect well-structured advice
  • Support advisers with technical analysis and financial planning research
  • Take ownership of cases from research through to completion
  • Work directly with providers and occasionally clients to gather information
  • Manage your own pipeline and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Ensure all documentation meets FCA regulatory standards

The result – broader knowledge, sharper technical skills and stronger career prospects within financial planning.

The Person

You will be an experienced Paraplanner within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management firm.

You will also bring:

  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products
  • Experience producing suitability reports and compliant advice documentation
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • The ability to manage deadlines independently

Please note: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as we’re unfortunately unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
