Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator Services - $20.00- $25.00 per hour (working 7.5 hours per week)– Fort Irwin, CA

The Role

Do you have the organisation skills to keep services, events, and records running smoothly in a faith-based setting? Are you confident working with clergy and community members while managing detailed schedules, documents, and communications?

We are seeking a Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator to provide reliable, well-structured support to the Catholic Community. This role sits at the heart of parish life, ensuring worship, events, and records are prepared with care and accuracy.

As a Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator, you will coordinate the practical and administrative activity that supports pastoral life. You will attend weekly coordination meetings, work closely with the Priest and COR, and ensure information flows clearly across the community.

This is a varied role that blends organisation, communication, and community support, offering real purpose and visible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend all weekly coordination meetings to gather information for pastoral activities
  • Produce and submit a monthly Catholic Community calendar by the final business day of the preceding month, covering:

                  Religious Education dates

                  Chapel and Catholic Community events

                  Holiday closures and Holy Days

  • Prepare for Mass services by:

              Marking the Lectionary and Roman Missal correctly

              Preparing sacred vessels, hosts, and wine in line with Garrison SOPs

  • Maintain Catholic Community registration records and submit monthly updates
  • Create a weekly bulletin and announcements, issued four days before services
  • Coordinate Community events, including:

             Facility reservation request forms

             Publicity flyers for Masses, Holy Days, and special events

             Monthly reports on materials and supplies used

  • Prepare sacramental records by collecting documentation and completing accurate AMS portal entries
  • Provide supporting documents for AMS quarterly clergy reports
  • Record attendance at all Catholic Community events and submit monthly reports
  • Complete background checks as required

The Person

  • Able to gain Catechist certification within 90 days
  • Confident communicator, both written and spoken
  • Computer literate, with strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  •  Professional, respectful, and courteous at all times
