The Role

Are you experienced in coordinating faith-based activities while keeping detailed records and clear communications? Do you enjoy organising events, supporting clergy, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes?

We are seeking a Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting the Catholic Community and its pastoral activities. This is a varied, people-focused position where your organisation skills directly support worship, community life and ministry delivery.

As a Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordinator, you will provide structured administrative and pastoral support to the Community. You will work closely with the Priest and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), ensuring services, events, and records are accurate, timely, and well managed.

This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, clear processes, and meaningful work within a faith-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend all required meetings to gather and share programme information
  • Produce and submit a monthly Catholic Community calendar by the final business day of the preceding month
  • Prepare liturgical books, sacred vessels, hosts, and wine before each Mass
  • Maintain an accurate Catholic Community registration list, updated monthly
  • Create a weekly bulletin and service announcements
  • Coordinate Catholic Community events, including:
  •    Facility booking requests
  •    Event and Holy Day flyers
  •    Monthly materials and supply usage reports
  • Prepare sacramental records in the AMS portal, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Support the preparation of quarterly clergy reports
  • Record attendance at all Catholic Community events and submit monthly reports
  • Complete required background checks in line with programme requirements

The Person

  • Able to gain Catechist certification within 90 days
  • Confident communicator, both written and spoken
  • Computer literate, with strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Professional, respectful, and courteous at all times
