Business Development Manager – Competitive Salary – Cape Town, South Africa (Remote)

The Role

We’re looking for a confident, driven Business Development Manager to join Clarity and help grow our recruitment partnerships across the US and beyond. While we're based in Cape Town, this role is fully remote – ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy and flexibility, with the ability to work EST hours.

You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and helping to grow Clarity’s recruitment services. With a focus on outbound activity, you’ll work closely with our delivery and operations team to ensure a smooth and effective experience for every client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Identify and approach potential partners through various channels.
  • Understand client hiring needs and communicate how Clarity can support them.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from first contact to contract agreement.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Keep accurate records in our CRM and report on your pipeline regularly.

The Person

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced – at least 3 years in a sales or business development role, ideally in recruitment or a service-based industry.
  • Confident speaking to decision-makers and winning new business.
  • Able to work independently, stay organised, and manage their time effectively.
  • Comfortable working remotely and happy to work EST hours.
  • Driven by results and motivated to hit and exceed targets.
  • Clear and professional in communication, both written and verbal.
