Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with and report to the Pastry Chef.
  • Prepare and finish pastry items based on production sheets and bakery standards.
  • Decorate pastries and cakes following clear guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Support the pastry team to keep production smooth and efficient.

The Person

To thrive as our Pastry Cook, you’ll bring:

  • Strong decorating skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence following recipes
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, kitchen measurements, and pastry equipment
  • Good time-management and the ability to work on your feet
  • A positive, team-centred approach
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary or pastry experience (culinary school training is a bonus)
