The Role

Are you experienced in industrial sales and driven to open new markets? Do you know how to identify and develop opportunities instead of waiting for them to come to you?

ACI Controls is seeking a skilled Industrial Sales Representative to drive new business and expand key accounts in the greater Philadelphia, Virginia, and Maryland area. This is a field-based, business development role focused on generating new revenue in industries such as PowerGen, semiconductor, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, biotech, and food & beverage.

You will actively grow our presence by introducing Parker Hannifin, Honeywell, and related high-performance instrumentation and mechanical products to engineering and procurement stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new customer relationships through strategic outreach and in-person visits
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying application needs and matching them with the right products
  • Cross-sell solutions across instrumentation, fluid handling, and motion control systems
  • Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations
  • Work closely with internal teams including inside sales, engineering, and warehouse support
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and territory reports
  • Represent ACI at trade shows and industry events

The Person

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial sales (mechanical or instrumentation products)
  • Familiarity with brands like Parker Hannifin or Honeywell is a plus
  • Proven ability to develop new business and manage complex sales cycles
  • Technically minded with strong communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong time management and travel flexibility
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in the field
