Golden Arrow Marine is an established and fast-growing business based along the central South Coast. We specialise in premium propulsion and onboard equipment solutions for the leisure, commercial and defence marine sectors.

The Role
We're looking for a Marine Engineer to lead and deliver a range of engineering projects. You will be involved in everything from diagnostics and maintenance to complex installations and sea trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, diagnose, test, and maintain marine systems
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings and performance reports
  • Support new builds, retrofits and overhauls
  • Investigate faults and suggest solutions
  • Mentor junior team members and apprentices
  • Carry out inspections and sea trials
  • Provide technical advice to our dealer network

The Person

  • Qualified or experienced in Marine, Mechanical or related Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience with leisure and commercial vessels
  • Skilled in diesel diagnostics and system servicing
  • Strong knowledge of propulsion, electrical and auxiliary systems
  • Confident in shipyard settings and using specialist tools
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Flexible for occasional UK or overseas travel
