We are looking for Patient Transfer Attendants to join our friendly and supportive team. In this role, you'll assist patients as they move between medical facilities, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. You’ll be the face of kindness and professionalism, helping people during a time when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and respectful transfers for patients, making sure they feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Assist patients in and out of vehicles, using equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers, and stair chairs.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, their families, and medical staff.
  • Work as part of a supportive team, always ready to lend a helping hand.

The Person

  • A Class 5 BC Driver’s License with at least 5 years of driving experience.
  • A clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Holds a valid OFA Level 1 (Basic First Aid) certificate (or equivalent).
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (for working with vulnerable individuals).
  • A positive attitude, a passion for helping others, and the physical ability to assist with patient transfers (lifting, pushing, or pulling 250+ lbs with a partner).
  • Vaccinations in accordance with the Immunization Policy for Health Care Workers
  • Per Company policy, all employees are required to submit proof of the first and second dose of the Covid vaccination
