We’re seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT or PTLA) to join our top-tier outpatient clinic in San Francisco’s Financial District. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for those who enjoy working with active patients—from weekend warriors to elite athletes—and who are eager to grow professionally in a supportive, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess physical function and movement limitations in patients
  • Establish goals and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Use manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to restore function
  • Track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients on at-home exercises and injury prevention
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare partners
  • Keep thorough and timely patient documentation
  • Stay current with developments in orthopedic and sports therapy

The Company

Located in the heart of San Francisco's Financial District, Ultrahealth has provided cutting-edge physical therapy and sports training services for more than two decades. Founded in 1986 by Martha Mattox, Ultrahealth remains a free-standing private practice. The guiding principal of the clinic is to quickly and effectively treat all orthopedic injuries, and, in the process, help every patient realize his or her full physical potential.

Ultrahealth helps our patients realize their goals by eliminating the obstacles created by physical injury or dysfunction. Ultimately we want patients to leave us more active, fitter and stronger than they were prior to sustaining the injury that brought them to us. We give our patients the care, the tools and the inspiration to make this happen.

Benefits:

  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Paid time off and flexible schedule
  • Continuing education support and credits
  • Use of gym facilities and race entry reimbursement
  • Opportunities to work with elite athletes
  • Supportive team environment focused on growth

The Person

  • Doctorate or degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Licensed PT or PTLA in California
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology
  • Effective communicator and team player
  • Interest or experience in treating sports and orthopedic injuries
  • Athletic training or clinical specialist certification is a plus
  • Committed to professional growth and an active lifestyle
