Hoist & Crane Technician – 5+ Years Experience – $28 to $35 per hour + Benefits – Clarksburg, NJ

We are seeking a full-time Hoist & Crane Technician to perform field service for overhead cranes and hoists. This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime. As part of our team, you will work directly with customers and ensure their equipment runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on overhead material handling equipment, including hoists and overhead cranes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Assist with system installations and upgrades.
• Provide direct customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage customer documentation accurately.
• Ensure professional presentation and timely completion of tasks.

We sell new equipment, offer repair and inspection services, and provide replacement parts for overhead cranes, hoists, and related equipment. Our engineering department specializes in unique applications and modernizations. Our customer base includes manufacturers, engineering firms, and both global and local contractors.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience working with hoists and overhead cranes, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation.
• The ability to work at heights and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong communication skills for customer interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations, including occasional overnight stays.
• High School Diploma/equivalent or better
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean drug test (marijuana not tested)
• Residence within 40 miles of Clarksburg, NJ, or willingness to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of an electrical or mechanical certification or trade school degree
• Industrial electricity experience or the ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits
• Experience Welding, machining or fabricating
• Veterans/Armed Services experience
