Industrial Technicians, Entry-Level – $20 - $23 per hour + Benefits – Clarksburg, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced technicians with inspections, system installations, repairs, and maintenance of overhead hoists and cranes at customer sites
• Perform shop duties including shipment loading, inventory packing, and clean-up tasks
• Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate timeliness and organization in all aspects of the job
• Complete necessary job documentation and paperwork while in the field
• Learn new skills and work toward promotion opportunities within the company

The Company

Shupper-Brickle Equipment is an overhead material handling distributor and custom-manufacturer. We sell new equipment, offer repair and inspection services, and provide replacement parts for overhead cranes, hoists, and related equipment. Our engineering department specializes in unique applications and modernizations. Our customer base includes manufacturers, engineering firms, and both global and local contractors.

The Person

We are looking for someone with the following:

• At least 1 year of mechanical repair experience OR a completed vocational degree in a mechanical trade
• A strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 70 lbs
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, clean background check and drug test
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, including occasional overnight stays
• Must live within 40 miles of Clarksburg, NJ

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on industrial equipment, vocational diploma or technical certificate and/or armed services experience.
