The Role

Do you want your clinical skills to directly support military families? Are you ready to work in a role where you can make a meaningful difference every day?

We are seeking a licensed Psychotherapist to provide behavioral health services for the North Carolina National Guard in Charlotte. This is a full-time position offering a mix of in-person and telehealth support, clinical assessments, evidence-based therapy, and case management for service members and their families.

You will also be part of a state-wide rotation supporting the IBHS 24/7 helpline, offering responsive crisis support when needed.

Position contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver trauma-informed therapy (CPT, PE, EMDR, etc.)
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Document all clinical activity in the secure EMR system
  • Participate in on-call rotation for the 24/7 helpline
  • Provide outreach and psychoeducation at NCNG events
  • Collaborate with other behavioral health professionals, military command, and external partners

The Person

  • Master’s in behavioral health or social sciences
  • NC state license as LCSW, LPC or LMFT (independent provider level)
  • At least 3 years of post-licensure experience
  • Proficient in trauma therapies and managing clinical risk
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and adapting to changing priorities
  • Reliable, flexible, and confident working both independently and as part of a team
